Specialty Performance Training has a solid reputation for quality performance and integrity. SPT offers 35 years of experience in the industry.  Founded by Reginald Lewis a Boilermaker trained by Tennessee Valley Authority, who has experience in Welding high pressure tubes and vessels as a member of the Boilermaker Union.

Curriculum
 
Specialty Performance Training offers a full suite of Boilermaker Training Curriculum. SPT of Memphis is an accredited institution, specializing in hands on training for trades including Boilermaking, Rigging, and Welding.

One of the major differences between SPT and other Boilermaker Training Institutes is our extensive and in-depth expertise in Boilermaking, Rigging, and Welding. SPT provides our students with a personalized experience, ensuring that we want our students to succeed through enhancing each students valuable capabilities.

SPT's experience includes being trained by some of the best retired Boilermakers and NCCER Instructors in the network. By being a NCCER Certified Program we may require you take more classes in order to achieve completion of the program. We do this to ensure that your training will grant you the skills to work for anyone with distinction and to provide you with the skill set to grant you the credibility & experience needed to gain employment in today’s competitive Boilermaking, Rigging, and Welding job markets.

In addition, SPT has developed solutions to help students at all stages of the program to promote growth, conceptualization, professionalism, and success. Our SPT Instructors help students at all stages to communicate effectively, problem solve, gain skill proficiency, and ultimately reach profitability and professionalism.

Credits earned at Specialty Performance Training Institute may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by SPT Institute. You should obtain confirmation that SPT Institute will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at SPT Institute to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at SPT Institute prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from SPT Institute to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at SPT Institute if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of SPT Institute and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at LMC Institute before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
